Since 2008, Newbury Public Library has had more than 15,000 user visits each year. Children participate regularly in Story Time and in children’s programs. Writers and researchers use our library regularly for scholarly pursuits. Residents rely on our high-speed technology and wi-fi. The homebound get deliveries of collection materials. Many patrons download e-books and audiobooks from home. And people gather. Last year 2,674 people attended 186 programs. Our library functions as a center of community for local residents. The Newbury Public Library Foundation is raising funds to support the renovation and much-needed expansion of the community library, the heart of Newbury.
